At Stellios Technologies Inc. ("Stellios," "we," "us," or "our"), we collect, use, and retain information to operate, secure, and improve Stellios Genesis, the stellios.io website, and our related products and services, collectively, the "Service." This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the limited choices available. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This Privacy Policy applies only to personal information collected through the Service. It does not apply to data we process for other business offerings, or to employment related information.
1. Definitions
For clarity and consistency with our Terms of Service:
- "Personal Information" means information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual, as determined under applicable United States law.
- "User Content" means any data, text, files, models, designs, simulations, parameters, prompts, notes, or other material you submit to the Service.
- "AI Output" means any material generated by the Service's artificial intelligence features based on inputs, prompts, or context.
- "Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Information, such as collection, storage, use, disclosure, analysis, or deletion.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the categories of information described below. Collection is direct from you, automatic through your use, or from our service providers and partners.
Identifiers and account details. Name, email, organization, account credentials, profile details, third party login identifiers.
User Content. Projects, engineering data, models, designs, simulation inputs and results, parameters, files, prompts, notes, feedback, and related metadata you submit to the Service.
AI interaction data. Prompts, inputs, AI Output, feedback signals, usage timestamps, session identifiers.
Technical and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location, event logs, crash logs, performance metrics, time on page or screen, clickstreams.
Transactional data. Subscription or license tier, renewal status, payment tokens from processors, limited billing metadata.
Inferences and analytics. Segments, cohorts, feature flags, quality metrics, and models used to improve performance and safety.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal information. Do not submit sensitive information. If you do, you consent to our processing as described here.
3. How We Use Information
We use Personal Information for the following purposes. These purposes are broad by design to protect the company and the Service.
Operate the Service. Authentication, account administration, core functionality, delivery of features.
Security and integrity. Monitoring, logging, fraud prevention, abuse detection, spam reduction, incident response, and enforcement of our Terms.
Research and development. Improving models and systems, testing, quality assurance, debugging, model evaluation, algorithmic improvements, and development of new products and features.
AI systems. Training, fine tuning, evaluation, and safety improvements of models, including the use of User Content and AI interaction data, subject to applicable law and our agreements with providers.
Legal and compliance. Record keeping, audits, legal requests, dispute resolution, export-control compliance, and protection of our rights, users, and the public.
Communications. Service notices, transactional messages, policy updates, security alerts.
We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. We do not permit third parties to use your information for their own advertising.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We share information with the following categories of recipients. Recipients act under contracts that restrict use to our documented purposes.
Service providers. Cloud hosting, databases, storage, analytics, observability, payment processing, customer support, email delivery, safety tooling, and AI model providers.
Affiliates and related entities. For service operations, security, and product development.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Legal and safety. To competent authorities, advisors, or others when we believe disclosure is needed to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect our rights, users, or the public, or detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
Deidentified and aggregate data. We may share aggregated or deidentified information that does not identify you.
We use well known infrastructure and AI providers, for example, Supabase, AWS, GCP, Azure, Stripe, and reputable model vendors. Their use of data is limited to providing services to us.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and enhance security. You can control cookies through your browser. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
6. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information for as long as needed to operate the Service, meet legal and security obligations, protect our rights, and maintain reliable business records. Backups, logs, analytics datasets, and derivative or deidentified data may be retained for a longer period. Upon account closure, we may delete or deidentify your data within ninety days, or retain it where required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or operational continuity. We do not guarantee continued access, storage, or recovery of data after account closure.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate for the Service, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, environment isolation, and security monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and you accept the inherent risks of internet services.
8. Your Choices and Requests
You can access and update basic account information in the app settings. You may request deletion of your account by contacting connect@stellios.io. We will handle requests in our discretion, subject to legal, security, archival, or operational requirements. We may decline or limit requests that are unreasonable, would expose company systems, or conflict with our obligations. If you disagree, you should stop using the Service.
9. Children
The Service is not for individuals under 13, or under 16 where that age is legally relevant. If we learn we collected information from a minor without consent where required, we will delete it.
10. International Use
The Service is operated from the United States for users located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to transfer and processing in the United States. The Service is not designed to comply with GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws. If such laws apply to you, do not use the Service.
11. Third Party Links and Services
The Service may link to third party sites or integrate third party services. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before using them. We are not responsible for their actions.
12. AI Output and Model Improvement
When you use the Service, your prompts, User Content, feedback, and AI Output may be processed to operate features, to improve model quality and safety, and to evaluate system performance. We may use automated and manual review for abuse detection, safety, and debugging. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or export-controlled information unless your agreement with us expressly permits it.
13. Export Controls
The Service and related technical data may be subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and, where applicable, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You agree not to submit, transmit, or access export-controlled information through the Service except as expressly authorized in writing by Stellios and permitted by law. You are responsible for complying with all applicable export and import laws.
14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we limit liability as set out in the Terms of Service. If you do not accept these limits, do not use the Service.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute relating to this Privacy Policy is governed by the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions in the Terms of Service. You agree to individual arbitration, a class action waiver, and the one year limitations period described in the Terms.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted. We may provide additional notice for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
17. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
